It’s been a bit some time since the Blockchain Life Conference in Dubai — enough time to finally process and write about what we experienced. Or rather, how Ze Event went for us.
We, the Cyberian Mine Crew, were there — at the Booth L9, right across from Bitmain, the very company whose devices form the beating heart of our infrastructure. For us, it felt like meeting an old friend — familiar yet competitive, close yet inspiring (sometimes hard to get yet everpresent). To some extent fittingly (depending on the perspective and partners), our slogan this year was “Stress-Free Mining.” Even our giveaway anti-stress cubes were in perfect sync with that idea: seamless solutions for a stress-free future of trustless technology. (Yes, we are pushing it a bit further with these alliterations, but it is fun to pronounce it aloud).
From Lo-Fi Beginnings to High-Gloss Conferences
Those of us who have been around since the early days of the crypto-community remember when it was all raw, unpolished, and wonderfully strange. Back then — just 10 or 15 years ago — crypto gatherings were small, improvised meetups of self-proclaimed nerds in Berlin, Brussels, Madrid, Moscow, Munich, Belgrade, Copenhagen… People came together, laughed hysterically over improbable theories, and sketched out fintech dreams on napkins. Those weren’t “conferences.” They were unconferences.
There were no VIP lounges, no sponsorship tiers, no cool lasers, and marble floors. There were, however, energy drinks, whiteboards, and a sense that we were building something out of nothing.
Today, things have changed — dramatically. Some of those changes are for the better. One of the best is the growing presence of women across every level of the crypto space — as founders, engineers, investors, and speakers. But with progress also came hierarchy: VIP, Business, and General Access. The democratizing chaos of the old days has been replaced by structure and spectacle.
And yet, this transformation also makes sense. The industry grew up. Crypto is no longer an experiment — it’s an ecosystem. Business requires signals of value, credibility, and standing. That’s what Blockchain Life represents: a snapshot of how far we’ve all come.
Playing the Game — Suverän
At Blockchain Life, we played the game suverän (as we say in German). We knew why we were there: not to reminisce, but to engage, to connect, to show who we are in 2025.
Cyberian Mine has been on the market since 2018, with a team that’s been in the mining business since 2014. Our mission hasn’t changed — but our voice has matured. This time, we came to show our standing, demonstrate our values, and present what reliable, transparent, and technically advanced mining infrastructure looks like today.
Booth L9: A Small Oasis of Calm
Our booth was simple, confident, and cozy — L9 became an oasis of calm in the middle of Dubai’s Festival Arena. While others blasted screens and sound, we went for conversation to mint new coalitions.
People came for the anti-stress cubes — small, tactile, and magnetic. They stayed for the story: lifetime hash-power guarantee, automatic failover, instant start, and zero maintenance worries. The idea of mining without headaches resonated deeply, especially in an industry where downtime literally costs money.
Next to the cubes, our flyers and question cards caught attention too — playful nods to Marcel Proust’s questionnaire, but rewritten for miners and hosts. Instead of “What is your idea of happiness?” ours asked: “What defines a trustworthy hosting provider?” and “What does transparency mean in crypto infrastructure?” The answer was obvious and it corresponded with our values. It was not a PR stunt, but a down to Earth definition of quality.
Connections, Conversations, and Community
In two days, we exchanged nearly a four-digit number of contacts (yes, really). So if you met us and haven’t yet heard back — this is our public apology. We will reach out soon. The conversations we had were too valuable to rush.
We spoke with miners, investors, traders, and newcomers — people from every continent. From Latin America to the Middle East, from Asia to Eastern Europe — the crypto community is now as global as the internet itself. And in all those exchanges, we felt the same spark that once fueled those early unconferences: the belief that decentralized systems can change the world.
There were no language barriers either — we spoke all the languages: English, German, Spanish, Russian, Serbian, and even the unspoken one — the language of code. Our Tech Lead Arthur was especially successful in speaking it, as at the end he was the most popular one, asked by all of our neighbours, all of the tech colleagues, all of the (female) representatives (surrounded by the veterans, he just dominated the scenery).
Products and Plans before Christmas
Amid all the conversations and connections, we also had the chance to showcase some of our special products and investment plans for future customers. At Cyberian Mine, accessibility has always been part of our DNA — we continue to welcome low-entry miners and small investors, but we’re also building bridges to larger partners who see the long-term value of sustainable infrastructure.
For these institutional clients, we’ve designed a plan that makes it possible to turn what would normally be an unproductive expense (such as opex and taxes) into a productive asset — by converting it into technical mining services that generate real value. In other words, instead of letting your tax bill disappear, you let it mine. We will soon have more news on this.
At Blockchain Life, we also introduced our next step in innovation — Everminer, a new approach to lifetime mining and flexible investment. Our next post will tell you more about Everminer and the unit of hashpower forever — Everhash. We just did a revamp of our system, so there will be some cool surprises and maybe even Easter Eggs before Christmas.
Recognition and Respect
Not to forget — we also took part in the competition. And while we didn’t come in first, we proudly took second place, officially recognized as the second-best mining company of the year by our industry peers.
A peer-based decision like this means a lot — it touches the heart more deeply than any marketing award could. It reflects the respect even competitors are willing to show when the work speaks for itself. For us, that recognition was both motivating — proof that our commitment to quality, transparency, and reliability doesn’t go unnoticed.
Back from Dubai — But Looking Forward
After two intense days of conversations, panels, and night-time networking, we returned home exhausted but exhilarated. Blockchain Life 2025 wasn’t just another event — it was a checkpoint. It reminded us why we do what we do and how far the industry has come since those chaotic, beautiful early days.
We brought back more than contacts and leads — we brought back momentum. The booth may be packed away, but the conversations continue to create the community of Cyberian Miners.
And if you ask what the future holds for Cyberian Mine, the answer is simple: to keep building — stronger, cleaner, and smarter infrastructure — and to make mining stress-free for everyone who believes in the long game.
So if you held one of our anti-stress cubes in Dubai — keep it. It’s more than a souvenir. It will also make you suverän. Remember, it is not a small promise that in a noisy, unpredictable world, some things can still be solid, steady, and built to last. So, join us and mint in.
